Chances are you’re like me and love having pets. There are so many advantages of having pets in the house. They are little creatures that exhibit their own personalities and quirks that are always fun to watch and experience. On top of that, they are so adorable and studies have shown they can help reduce your stress level to boot!

Then again, this article is not going to be about how cute and cuddly they are but on how to finally and naturally get rid of fleas once and for all. Yes, these pesky fleas not only harm your pets but yourself as well. Having experienced it first hand, it damages skin and if you don’t want to say good-bye to wearing shorts or girly skirts for a time, act now.

1. With Garlic & Yeast Diet

What a way to spice things up. Garlic of course is a natural antibiotic that works well with our own body’s good bacteria. It is an antiviral and antifungal seasoning. As for brewer’s yeast, this ingredient is known to make fleas go nuts. They just can’t stand them and it’s because of its thiamine.

Crush the garlic first then let it air for about 10 minutes. This activates its natural antibiotic agent. Then spruce up your pet’s dinner by adding it thrice a week in about half a clove. Then for that one-two knockout punch, add about half a teaspoon of brewer’s yeast for starters. Then adjust dosage as is fitting, dogs and cats can come in various sizes you know.
